We understand that enrolling your teen in a professional training program is a big decision. Below are the most common questions parents ask before enrolling.
What ages can attend?
The program is designed for students ages 13–16. Students must demonstrate maturity, responsibility, and the ability to follow structured instruction in a professional environment.
Is this a licensed cosmetology program? No.
This is a foundational training program designed to introduce teens to professional nail care techniques, sanitation standards, and creative development.
It does not replace state licensing requirements.
Will my teen be working on real clients? No.
Students will practice on:
• Mannequin hands
• Practice hands
• Supervised partner work within the class. There is no public client work during this program.
What products will be used?
Students will use professional-grade products under supervision, including: Gel polish, Gel-X systems, Builder gel, Basic nail art materials.
All products are used responsibly and age-appropriately.
What does the $2,000 tuition include?Tuition includes:
• 8 weeks of structured instruction
• Student starter nail kit
• Practice hand
• Training manual
• All in-class materials
• Certificate of Completion
• Parent Showcase Day
There are no hidden material fees.
Is there a payment plan available?
A deposit is required to secure enrollment. Remaining tuition may be structured into scheduled payments prior to the program start date.
Full payment details are provided during the enrollment consultation.
What happens at the end of the program? Students will complete a final nail set project.
Parents are invited to attend Parent Showcase Day, where students present their final work and receive their Certificate of Completion.
What if my teen decides this industry isn’t for them?
That’s completely okay. This program still builds:
• Discipline
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Professional etiquette
• Creative confidence
The skills extend beyond nails.
What if my teen misses a day?
Because this is a cumulative program, attendance is important. Make-up sessions are not guaranteed and are handled case-by-case.
Is lunch provided?
Students should bring their own lunch. A scheduled lunch break will be provided daily.
What should my teen wear?Students should wear comfortable, modest clothing suitable for a professional salon environment. Closed-toe shoes are required.
How many students are accepted?
Enrollment is intentionally limited to maintain hands-on instruction and close supervision. We only offer 10 spots this year
Spots fill quickly.
What is the daily schedule like?
Students attend Monday–Friday from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
A typical day includes:
• Technical demonstration
• Guided hands-on practice
• Skill-building exercises
• Creative development sessions
• Clean-up & workstation reset
This is not free play — it is structured training.
